Car Accident Kansas City: One Dead, Several Injured in Major Manor Collision

401 Westbound Accident Today: Emergency crews are responding to a two vehicle collision
Kansas City, MO, USAA tragic crash in Manor early Sunday morning left one person dead and several others seriously injured, according to the Manor Police Department.

Officers responded around 4 a.m. to the 11700 block of North FM 973, near Lagos Elementary School, arriving less than two minutes after the collision occurred. Upon arrival, first responders found two heavily damaged vehicles and multiple occupants suffering from critical and life-threatening injuries.

Emergency crews provided immediate aid to a severely injured occupant in one vehicle and four critically injured occupants in the second vehicle, including two young children. Authorities reported that an 11-month-old infant remained in critical condition, while an approximately 2-year-old child was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A 23-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Two adult men were also transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The roadway was temporarily closed in both directions as emergency personnel worked the scene before reopening shortly after 9 a.m. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Multiple agencies assisted in the response, including the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Department of Public Safety, Travis County ESD 12, and Austin-Travis County EMS.
