Drivers are facing delays on the M6 in Staffordshire following a crash that has forced the closure of two lanes on the southbound carriageway.
The incident occurred between Junction 14 for Stafford North and Junction 13 for Stafford South and was first reported at approximately 3:25 p.m. Emergency services are understood to be attending the scene, with traffic building in the affected area.
According to traffic monitoring service Inrix, two lanes remain closed while recovery and incident management operations continue. The service reported: “There are two lanes closed and there is slow traffic due to an accident on the M6 southbound between Junctions 14 and 13.”
